Le Club House - St Arnoult

We had a very good dinner with our fellow travelers on a tour of Normandy. The service was fine, too.

While we stayed at the Barriere it seemed only sensible to eat there at least once. Now don't get me wrong, the food was good but for the price it certainly wasn't great. We were a group of 6 staying for a four day golf break. We ate there twice and it was just that sometimes fine dining is not what you want. A hotel of the size of the Barriere should have several places to eat, at different price points. We all just felt that the prices, especially the drinks, were high. Having said all that it was a great experience and the food was delicious. Thank you.

First, the restaurant offers an exceptionally beautiful view of Deauville, the sea and surrounding green hills--it was so memorable that I can still picture that gorgeous view in my mind right now. Second, the food was amazing and wonderfully prepared. Last, the server was very polite, kind, and helpful. If you ever visit Deauville, you must (you absolutely must! eat in this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is very well located with an open view over Deauville and the sea. Everything is green around as the restaurant is in fact based inside the Hotel du Golf Barriere. The restaurant is not cheap. The basic menu was 48 euros but everything was really good. The food was excellent, the service was perfect Maybe the wine list could be improved. In any case, a great experience of French Traditional Gastronomic Cuisine.
