The whole perimeter is covered in greens. Big philodendrons. Oak trees with hanging moss. Lots of palms. The floor is wood chip. There are a dozen tables around the ample stage. Great charcuterie boards. Winelist is limited, but everything is good. The night we were there, there was a local acoustic singer songwriter, Jolie. Shehas a great voice. Sang covers from Adele, the Beatles, and Anisette Morrison as well as her own stuff. My new favorite placein St. Augustine.
Alex was absolutely 100% amazing. Very through with his history of St Augustine so very presentable personable. It turned into just my husband I on the tour. Everyone else canceled due to the weather but we had perfect weather. The experience myhusband surprised me with was the Dining at Twilight. This is a food tour NOT to miss. The 1st meeting place was Casa Vino. Wedid a wine tasting of 6 wines then a delicious charcuterie board. We sat outside under a tent. The history of the place was soold. My favorite was the almost clear Portuguese wine.
We visited on a Sunday evening just before closing, so there wasn't much of a crowd. But those of us there were very appreciative of Wayne the guitar player singing tunes by Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffett and The Eagles on his beautiful guitar. Ourwaitress was sweet and attentive and the charcuterie board was delicious, very fresh and tasty. The wine wasn't the best, butdefinitely not something you would find in the grocery store, so an adventure even so. Overall a pleasant time in the courtyardof Casa De Vino. And bonus: we got the history of the old house and some ghost stories before we left. Be sure to ask about themwhen you visit.
Stopped in at Casa De Vino for a late bite to eat. The outside courtyard was quiet and appropriately lit for a romantic wine and cheese pairing. The charcuterie board was excellent- many cheese and meat options. The wine list was impeccable and there wereseveral local beer options as well. Definitely a nice place for a drink and a snack.
Very comfy and cozy beautiful outdoor atmosphere! Prices were extremely reasonable and the staff is top notch, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Do not miss coming here when in St. Augustine!
