The dishes we ordered were mostly disappointing, although the honey garlic ribs stood out as a highlight. The lemon chicken was greasy and lacking in chicken, and the other dishes were missing their meats as well. Overall, the quality of the rice could use improvement. I was left wanting more from this dining experience.
The empty parking lot should have been enough warning that Cozy Grill is a place to avoid. I liked the retro feel of the place its a step back in time but that 's where any positive feelings stop and the stomach cramps begin. The food is horrible cold, greasy, bland. The 'experience ' starts with an over salted bowl of broth with chow mein noodles floating in it and goes down from there. I had a sweet/sour pork (breaded) lunch special which could have been mistaken for a plate of cold sick. Fried rice was cold. The lo mein was a heap of tepid grey cooked sprouts. The sweet/sour pork was ok at best. I couldn 't bring myself to eating the food left having not eaten much of any of it. Walked away paying $6.99 for nothing more than stomach cramps. One word gross.
I haven't been to this restaurant in a while, but I remember having a great meal there. I ordered a combination plate which allowed me to try a variety of dishes in Chinese style, complete with chopsticks, fortune cookies, and dessert. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
4.99 Lunch, beats fast food places. Food great! Six itiams on Lunch menu . most 4.99 a few 5.99 I get the #3 it is awesome!
Place hasn't changed for what seems like 20 years. Food is very average but a lunch combo with soup for $7 you can't complain.
