Eggsmart - St. Catharines

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, and the portions were generous. The eggs Benedict were especially tasty. We will definitely be returning.

Carrie is an exceptional waitress. She is very easy to talk to and ensures that her customers are happy. I dined at this restaurant with two friends and she was very kind.

We decided to have breakfast here on New Year's Day. We arrived at 12:45. The place was busy but not packed and there was no waiting to find a place. To our surprise, however, they had only 2 servers, 1 cook, 2 helpers. At least the service staff was significantly overwhelmed to get orders on 30 plus tables. It took about 20 minutes to get our orders. From this point our meals came 1 hour and 15 minutes later. Simple, from the time to sit at the table until our meals arrived, over 1.5 hours past. We talked about leaving, but we waited so long. This was definitely not a waiting staff problem because they did all the buses and cleaning the restaurant. The cook was very slow from what we could see from our view of their open kitchen. This is definitely a management problem that it is not enough staff to serve the number of customers. Now on our meals. When they finally arrived, we actually laughed at the side of the fruit we got; a piece of pineapple the size of a dimme and a raspberry. One of our four meals was cold, but we don't dare to wait again. The other three meals were warm and delicious. Apparently it's hit and miss this place. I was there before and had better service / quality. Never again.

You won't find breakfast options here, but the eggs are delicious no matter what time you visit. The service is efficient and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

In October, I visited the Eggsmart on Geneva Street in St. Catharines with a friend. The owner and the staff greeted us right away, and although they were very busy, they were super nice and quickly found us a clean table. I can see why...it is a popular spot! The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Plus the prices are great! I have visited this restaurant for the past few months and it has quickly become my favorite breakfast and brunch spot with friends! Go and enjoy! You won’t be disappointed.
