J Rocks Pizza - St. Catharines

J Rocks was recommended to me from a long time on site for pizza and wings, so I checked it to watch some football. There were a lot of regular guests who welcomed me and my group and made us feel welcome. The staff was so friendly and relaxed and helped create a beautiful atmosphere. We had pizza (surprisingly good!!, a whole range of wings that were all tasty (and a wide selection of hot sauces if you want to try some for diving, and Jalapeno Poppers. A drink or two, a few delicious bar food and a friendly environment J Rocks, a place where I return!

I really enjoy this cozy bar, especially the outdoor patio! The chicken wings are fantastic, and the drink prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and they also offer takeout options.

Only a small, casual bar with very good chicken wings and pizza. The Sante Fe wings were my favorite. Dry with a really nice spice. Friendly staff. Be prepared to pay cash, they do not take credit cards or debit.

I'm not sure what went on behind the scenes, but the atmosphere at this restaurant was not family-friendly or suitable for a romantic evening with my wife. Perhaps I would have felt more at ease in a different location. I had hoped that the good food would make up for the lackluster ambiance, but unfortunately, it fell short. It could have just been an off night, but our experience did not leave us with enough confidence to give it another try.

Called to order a few pounds of wings and was informed that the restaurant is under new ownership and they now only have the basic flavors of mild, medium, hot, and honey garlic. This place was known for its awesome selection of flavours and it...was so disappointing that they got rid of them. We decided to give it a try anyway. The upside is that the price was great at seven bucks a pound. The downsides were many. The place just had the worst atmosphere. Very plain and uninviting. Took the wings home to eat and they were terrible. Barely any sauce on them at all. They tasted like plain fried chicken wings. One of them even tasted rotten. I have to say the service was great as when we called back to complain we were readily offered our money back. I hate giving negative reviews to small businesses, because I know someone's livelihood is at risk, but hopefully they will use this review as constructive criticism and fix the isssues with their wings. We only had wings so I can't speak to the rest of the food. Families in there eating the pizza looked like they were enjoying it.
