Jamrock Irie Jerk - St. Catharines

Its a nice, bright, open clean spot with lots of seats. Very welcoming and delicious food. Jerk chicken was good! Same with the coleslaw and rice and peas. Will be going here more for sure

Ordered on Skip. Portions were generous and food was AMAZING. Very flavorful. We ordered curried goat meal and one curry goat roti, goats head soup (first time) and curried chicken. Coleslaw was amazing too. Now the most fun was the Jamaican rum cake. We all loved it!! Too much food to finish everything. Will definitely be back.

There's two Caribbean restaurants in St Catharines. This one does a better oxtail, but the other one has better customer service by far. This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and there's absolutely no excuse or reason for it. It's not about the food or issues with timing for food...if you want a lesson in how to have a bad attitude and be rude without saying anything rude or bad, take notes from the guy that takes your order. It's so bad that after my last experience a week ago...I made the decision to never eat here again.I've been described as a generous and patient man. The only reason I decided to write this review is because I thought that what I was experiencing was in my head...only to have good friend of mine (he's Jamaican) complain about the exact same thing! I can't imagine how much this restaurant's potential is squandered just from this issue alone. It really is a shame to see any business...especially a black owned business (which I have supported many times) have such an issue. It speaks volumes.

My wife and I were visiting for the weekend and we had a taste for Jamaican food. We found this place on the internet and we decided to get take out for the drive home. The food was phenomenal!!! We ordered the Jamaican fried chicken, rice n peas, with corn and the rum cake. I wish we would have eaten there all weekend. Authentic Jamaican flavor with a west indie vibe in the house. The cook even let me try a fried dumpling. I highly recommend this place while visiting Canada. I wish I could take them home with me. I’m Hank you for the experience Jamrock!
