However, over time the prices increased and the quality decreased. Now, 5 years later, the price for a sandwich has gone up to over $20 after tax and the amount of meat has decreased. The bread is also not as good as it used to be. A 225% price increase over 5 years is outrageous! There are much better options available at lower prices. Goodbye!
A friend and I visited a restaurant two weekends ago and decided to order the Submission Subspecial, as we had done before. However, we were shocked to find out that the price for 4 subs and 4 pops had increased since April 1, 2022. The cost used to be $27, but now it has gone up by a ridiculous amount. In comparison, another sub-shop in Canada offers a similar deal of 3 subs for $24. Due to this exorbitant price increase and poor service (I was repeatedly asked about my sub choice but not my drink preference), we have decided to no longer patronize Submission Subs in St. Catharines, Ontario. Their pricing tactics seem unscrupulous and we feel like we are being taken advantage of. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant.
I have been buying Subs here for years and really appreciate the very simple menu and the good price. The subs are large, fresh and tasty. Keep the excellent work and change nothing!
This restaurant offers extremely affordable subs that are of good quality with fresh bread daily. The staff is very friendly and genuinely passionate about their product. The subs are made in the classic white bread deli style and the value is unbeatable. We tried the assortment and meatball subs and both were excellent. The meatballs are slowly cooked all day, resulting in a delicate and flavorful meat.
BEST subs Hubby and I have EVER eaten. Not a ton of things BUT...Only the BEST. We will never go to another sub place Their Roast beef is out of this world We can hardly wait for Fridays
