The Diner House 29 - St. Catharines

Found this place on the internet so my wife and I stopped in on our way to Niagara Falls from Mississauga. Good food and menu is a little different then your basic breakfast menu. Apple and Cinnamon French Toast was excellent. Home made bread toasted was great with strawberry jam. Different specials daily. Decorated with old style chairs and tables from the 50's and 60's. Nice touch. Would go back again for sure. Prices may be slightly above average but worth it. Always come around and to top up your coffee as well. Thanks for the enjoyable breakfast. See you on our next trip to Niagara region.

This place is understated the food is incredible!! Their quiche came with homemade bacon jam on top. ? I also tried their famous deep dish pancake wow, so delicious! It’s large enough to share with 2 3 people. It’s a mom pop business, which I love to encourage. They also sell homemade jams in unique flavours, like sour cherry, fig, peach plum, nectarine. The only feedback would be adding some background music for the ambiance. I will definitely be back for more!

Excellent diner food, taken up a notch. Everything was fresh and delicious. Pancakes were out of this world. Everything made from scratch. I’ll definitely be back. Excellent service too, very friendly.

Diner House 29 is a spectacular establishment!!They always serve up amazing meals no matter what you get. You could blindly point at the menu and be blown away by what you are experiencing!Anne and David have created something truly special.Aside from the food, the servers are incredible! They treat everyone like an old friend. Tisha stands out in this regard. She really helps bring the whole place together and really knows her stuff!We have been coming here for quite a few months now and we always bring visiting friends and family here. Now when they visit, they are honestly just making the drive to come to Diner House!
