The Frying Guys Inc - St. Catharines

I ordered today the 3 pieces haddock for my family. I told them I was there at 18 o'clock to pick it up. rubbed a few minutes early, they grabbed it right at 6. was at home in ten minutes and it was fantastic. we would recommend this restaurant fish and chips. many traditional signs, friendly staff. my son loved it too!

We have lived in st. catharines for a year. we live near and these youngs offer a good, no nonsense fish and chips. I don't think it's the cheapest thing you find, but we're always happy. takeout is fast, ready to even celebrate within 40 minutes. the personal is friendly. there are some complaining in the reviews about what are understated, etc. I have never experienced that. only good things. only a good local meeting point. fun.

It had been some time since we had been to Fryin' Guys and had previously had great food. This time was different the fries were bland and pickle spears had a fish flavoured batter. Staff were not wearing masks and it was unsure if they were following COVID protocol. Will not go back.

SMALL PORTION!! Kinda disappointed.. had the 3 piece halibut a couple weeks ago and the portions were great everything was fine.. today we got 3 tiny pieces of halibut that look like they were cut in half to stretch out their supply or something. Common.. when you're paying 45 dollars for 3 pieces of fish they shouldn't be so damn small..

I go here at least once a month for the lunch special as I don't work too far away. it is always amazing every time, 1 piece of haddoc, chips and a drink for $10 all in! I hate soggy/greasy fish and this place hasn't dissapointed me yet. not sure if there have been new management since all the old reviews from 2013 but I never had a bad experience here
