Large bar with local wines and beer. Good food and open end.
In the city that visited from the west coast and was so happy to find this place on happy cow - a vegan menu- heaven! The service was great, but my Veggie Burger and Salad made me wish more. The salad was only salad and tomatoes. And the burger came dry-- no vegan Mayo nothing. With some ketchup, mustard and relish it was 'ok'.... definitely not unforgettable. They would think to have a vegan menu that brought me first, they would make it a bit more exciting. Opp and no vegan dessert. I praise them for taking us vegans, but the recording is much different than actually taking the time to learn about vegan cuisine. That said the service was great and the environment was good. I come back to drink every day!
The office has a separate vegan menu (and a separate gluten-free menu), the regular menu items that are vegan modified. All I have tried is delicious, the service is wonderful, the wine is delicious and it has a great atmosphere.
We decided to try out this restaurant before attending a show at the First Ontario Performing Arts Center. We all felt that the prices were a bit high for bar food. The wings were tasty and hot, but unfortunately they were out of their cauliflower wings. Two members of our group ordered the Ravioli... When the dishes arrived, they appeared quite plain. The edges of many ravioli were dry and chewy, and the pasta was sitting in a pool of oil. Instead of a delicious butter sauce, it was just bland oil. A sprinkling of hard cheese on top did little to improve the lackluster dish. The drinks were also expensive, and we were unaware of the BYOB policy, otherwise we would have brought our own. The service was good, but we were the only customers in the restaurant. We considered sending the Ravioli back to the kitchen, but we were in a rush to make it to the theater on time.
