Great to see they remodeled this place. Food was good, I had a burger and fries and have no complaints. I'll be back to try more
Went here over the weekend with family and it was my first time being at a Rookies. Since they had a German menu for Oktober Fest, I decided to order off of that. While the pretzel bites were very good, the schnitzel wasn't. The meat was very dry andthe breading on top was badly burnt. Plus, service seemed a little...slow until the food came then the server came around a lotmore; the place wasn't that busy either. I would like to try it again in the future, but not when they have their German menu.
Rookies is new in St. Charles. It's a nice place to grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine/beer. I've been here with some coworkers after work to unwind and we had a good time. The service is good and so is the food. They also pop fresh popcorn andbring bowls of it to the tables while you wait for your food which I thought was a different spin on things, as otherrestaurants bring out bread and butter or chips and salsa. If you want to just chill and grab a bite to eat, Rookies is a niceplace to do it and it's a family friendly place. I highly recommend.
Not happy with the wings there order them naked and grilled well done got them breaded and soggy manager was not interested in making us satisfied told us to have a nice life and left the table will never go back. Spent over $200 and he would not takethe $12 wings off the bill. Service was horrible too. Could tell server was not happy and didn't want to be there.Thursday 7pm8/4.
