I tend to judge the pub by three things at first glance/experience. 1. the rod brass shining yes, tick, 2. they see the sign well written yes, tick. 3. the toilets are clean yes, tick. if I was nit picking, I would say decor saw something care worn otherwise would have given a well deserved 5 stars. but would be happy to come back. beautiful experience.
No space inside, but we were given the option to sit outside in the covered courtyard, there are heaters so it was pretty comfortable. There was a bit of a wait for food, but we were there at lunch time so a busy time of day. Food was delicious, staff were friendly and although they don't have a kids menu they were very accommodating to my son's request. Will definitely go again.
One of my favourite pubs in Bury and my go to beer garden. Staff are always friendly and then service is with care and is efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you're new to Bury or want to find a spot for a pint in the sun.
Family-friendly, massive portions, tasty eating, good affordable drinks, alcohol-free options. we repeat customers.
The food was awful. The burgers were dripping with fat and tasteless. I felt ripped off. I took family and won’t do it again
