What was meant to be a brief stop turned into a delightful dinner experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting on a cold November night, with cozy seating by the fireplace. The décor was cozy and welcoming, and the owner even provided Jenga for entertainment while we waited for the kitchen to open. In addition to traditional English pub fare, there were also South African dishes on the menu - which I had never tried before but thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious, and surprisingly healthy for anyone watching their diet. As the evening went on, the place filled up quickly so I would recommend making a reservation. The bill at the end was very reasonable, with no overly expensive drinks. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this spot.
We tried Three Ways for Lunch, the service was friendly and efficient, the food excellent and reasonably priced.
We enjoyed the steak offer on Thursday evening buy one and get one free. Three different cuts available. Meal was absolutely delicious! Four almost empty plates the portions of chips having defeated them : Staff are all lovely, setting perfect. Will be returning for pizza offer this week ...
Had a fantastic couple of meals from this pub. The couple that own it are lovely and very accommodating. The food on every occasion has been so good. We have tried the South African menu as well as the English and every meal has been fantastic with puddings that leave you wanting more .
I did a pin sticking pub pick for Suffolk Sunday lunch on Google maps and decided to give the Three ways pub a visit. After speaking to the landlord booked a table,as he seemed very nice on the phone taking the booking. The pub was over an hour away in an area not visited before. When we arrived the car park was nearly full,an indicator of a popular pub in a quite remote area. On entering was greeted by the landlord and our drink order taken. At least 2 real ales on tap, another good sign of popularity for a rural pub. We were seated and our lunch order quickly taken followed by a very quick service. Only managed half pint of beer before service. Vegetables served separate as was gravy. The meats and vegetables was just the right amount so no waste, Which left just enough room for cracking homemade dessert. A very nice landlord landlady friendly staff, and good food and service and price. Another trip in the offing. Well worth the trip down some very narrow lanes to find.
