an an Asia Food - St. Georg

Stopped here while in Hamburg on business. It was right around the corner from my hotel and decided to try it. It was OK. Small but cozy restaurant. It took a while for someone to see me at the door and show me to a seat. Food was a bit heavier than expected....and it was OK. The house wine was not the best and would not recommend. I am sure they have other items on the menu that are delicious.

We had masserman and fried noodles with chicken and it was really good. We have eaten in Thailand and this is just as great. Very friendly service and good prices.

Four of us including a vegan were looking for somewhere for lunch, none of the other three ever had Vietnamese before. We examined the menu and agreed to try here. Two of our party had vegetable Spring Rolls for starters and then we had four different main courses. All of the food was delicious. The waitress was delightful, friendly and helpful and very quick. We had a lovely, tasty lunch which was really good value for money.

The fish sauce was already on the salat, so everything was very muddy and did not taste fresh.
