The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night, so if you're planning on going here, plan accordingly. After about a 45 minute wait, I asked Jenn at the front desk how many people were ahead of us. The past year or more the quality of the food has suffered. The sweet and sour chicken had zero flavor and was very bland. I used to love this place for being unique and great food however something has changed.
Absolutely LOVE Benjas! I highly recommend starting with the Tom Kha Kai soup — it is THE BEST. Benjas also has my favorite sushi roll ever, the ghost roll. If you like jalapenos, you have to try it! The masaman or panag curry or the drunken noodles are amazing and ALWAYS end with mango sticky rice — SO YUMMY.
This place has some service issues. The front desk person, I was told her name was Jen, was incredibly rude. We were told our table was being prepared and we were next up. After waiting a while longer my brother went up to the desk to ask since we saw four additional groups pass by and went in. Jen snapped at him and went off. Food was good, however, they got the spice level incorrect on one of the dishes making it inedible for party member.
