Tifiny's Creperie - St. George

The food is delicious, and the tableside service is quick and efficient. I have no complaints about that; however, the wait time was an issue. My friend and I arrived for a late breakfast/early lunch around 11 am on a Saturday and were told it would be a 10-minute wait, which was fine. Unfortunately, that 10-minute wait turned into an hour. While I can be patient, it was frustrating to see that by the time we were finally seated, half the restaurant was empty with clean tables. Did it really take that long for just two people to be seated when there was so much available space?

I was quite disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered a savory crepe, but it tasted overwhelmingly cheesy, almost like cheese curds. On the positive side, the French onion soup was excellent. Unfortunately, the crepe lacked flavor, so my family decided to order four chocolate éclairs to go. They topped them with a gritty cocoa syrup that didn’t impress either. This will definitely be my first and last visit. The service was lacking as well; the waitress seemed to vanish, and I witnessed an employee named Cindy yelling at the hostess in front of everyone, which made me feel really sorry for the young lady.

The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional, with very friendly staff. I will definitely return! However, I wish they didn't put sauce over the crêpe, as it’s difficult to hold. I believe a crêpe should be wrapped up like a cone with everything inside. Despite that, what I had— the Greek crêpe—was extremely delicious, and I’ll definitely order it again!

We really wanted to like Tifiny’s, but this place is not good. We went on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entering, this place has a weird, off putting smell. We opted to sit on the patio which was cute at first.I ordered the Classic Crepes Benedict and my SO ordered the Chicken Florentine. Her chicken was cold with unmelted cheese and the egg in mine was way over cooked to the point of being hard boiled not poached at all. Also VERY cold. Looking through the patio window into the kitchen, there were 4 5 teens standing around doing anything but working.After about 10 min on the patio, we again were hit with a gross smell. This time it was a worker “airing out” the bathroom. This happened several more times before we finally lost our appetite. Between the weird smell inside and the gross behavior with the bathroom, I would certainly question the hygiene at this place.

Delightful, Tasty, and Lots of it!We sat outside on a rare after-the-rain afternoon, and it was just perfect. I had a savory crepe that was rich and yummy, my friend did a sumptuous breakfast crepe, and we BOTH ordered a fruity/sweet dessert crepe option too! (Cuz it was a delightfully gluttonous day. And wow! Big portions and high on flavor. Also, the adorable “coffee service” was appreciated too.
