I grew up in napa and golden harvest is the place to go authentic Chinese food. the personal is very well trained on gluten-free and vegan options. my favorite is the vegetable know-how fun and the ma po tofu. my favorite attizer is the green bevel pancake. there are many items that they can make vegan like fried rice, splash soup, and chicken dishes can be replaced for tofu. a must try when they are in the valley! check out my full review: https thatjenngirl.com/blog/1708/vegan-in-the-valley-golden-harvest updated by the previous review on 2018-09-25

I'm Chinese and I had my wedding in Yountville. I didn't have a formal rehearsal dinner because we held a Welcome Reception lunch on the day before our wedding, as it was a target wedding. But because I had so many Chinese relatives in the city, most of them prefer to eat Chinese food, I thought they would like to eat in a Chinese restaurant. However, there are very limited options for Chinese food in the Napa area. Although Golden Harvest doesn't really see how much outside looks and doesn't look much better inside, the food was actually surprisingly good. My family and I were all really very happy, and that says a lot. The food came out quickly and the service was great.

Eating is good. NOTE! Regardless of what Google says, they do NOT give to eat. Everything's just going.

No flavor to our vegetable chow mein, vegetable fried rice, or to the eggrolls. It's over priced and my boyfriend and I had to add tons of stuff to it at home to make it better. The food was hot and not drenched in oil though from what we could tell. While waiting for our our food for take out, the table we sat at had a huge layer of grime across it. The staff were polite and offered us free water, but we declined because we couldn't see where we would be getting the water from. When we pulled up there was a loose dog, but found out later it belonged to the staff. The staff person put their dog away, but proceeded to tell us how it was normal for the dog to be there apparently. Anyways, it's not a place I'd recommend.
