Sing Faye - St. Helens

We had a delightful dinner at the restaurant tonight with the family. The staff were friendly and always accommodating, providing excellent service without being intrusive. The food was served hot and delicious, and we didn't feel rushed to finish our meal and leave. While not the most affordable option, I believe it is one of the top Chinese restaurants in the area.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and it has always been just okay, not the best but a mediocre and slightly above average establishment. During my recent visit, I felt like the staff were eagerly waiting to take my plate as soon as I finished my meal, hovering around and making awkward eye contact. While the food was delicious and I had no complaints about it, I was surprised when the lady asked if I was leaving a tip as I paid the bill. I declined, but she asked again and mentioned that there was no service charge on the bill. I declined once more and she began speaking in Chinese to another staff member before handing me the card machine. I am someone who usually leaves a tip, even if the service is not great, but I was put off by the way I was pressured into tipping. I had planned to leave a tip, but after that experience, I have decided to avoid this restaurant in the future.

Every time I visit this restaurant, it is absolutely fabulous. The place is stunning, the service is top-notch, the staff is very courteous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious.

The service was slow and eating was terrible, would have complained, but they were afraid that they could bring us more food. they do not pay well for the environment

Pleasant environment, excellent service and they can cost the fresh in the food, try the plate, they will fight to beat it, extensive menu with all the Chinese who expect it
