The Crispy Cod - St. Helens

We tried a mix of dishes at the restaurant including fish and chips, savory cake, curry, and a Chinese meal. Everything was delicious. The curry had a great level of spice, the fish was crispy and white. Overall, the best meal we've had in a long time.

I just received a delivery from this restaurant, and for the prices they charge, they should use higher quality oil or change it more frequently. I have never had such disappointing food before.

The food at this restaurant was not good. The lamb was too fatty and the chicken was burnt and dry, tasting like it was cooked on a dirty grill. The quality used to be better here, but now it has gone downhill.

Friday evening, overpriced and what a let down. Fish dry and chewy. Chips dry and hard. Very small amount of cravey given. Donna meat rubbery. Spent £30 for 3 meals and most of it went in the bin. Never again.

Really disappointed, normally have no problems with The crispy cod but put an order in tonight at 6:35 and and at 9pm they told me they would have to re do the order as they didn't know where it was. Will take a while before I chance ordering again from them.
