Pengenna Pasties - St Ives

Hooray for vegan pasties!!!!! Pretty sure this is the only, or maybe one of VERY FEW places in StIves to do a VEGAN pastie.

HUGE pasties hereWe got the traditional steak one and it ended up lasting us a whole day as we nibbled on it.

I had a pasty from the Pengenna Pasties shop in St Ives whilst sheltering in a shop doorway during a torrential downpour (that lasted several hours and

I would have given 5 stars but as it's not fully vegan can only give 4. Had a couple of the vegan vegetable pasties and they were really good. The pastry was light unlike others I had.

Fun to be able to do the local tourist thing to do and have some proper Cornish pastiesWent for vegan cheese onion which was proper flakey, fatty and oozing with cheese, and we also had a fruit scone.
