This iconic establishment in St Kilda is divided into two parts, with a bar on one side and a Thai restaurant on the other. Despite undergoing renovations, the place has maintained its beauty. Having lived in St Kilda for nearly three years, we finally had the chance to visit the bar and we were impressed. The hotel's interiors are a perfect blend of classic and modern architecture. The food, especially the pizzas, was exceptional, with dishes like the Chicken Parma and Lobster Roll also standing out. The drink selection, including options like the Espresso Martini and Pineapple Punch, was good but didn't offer anything unique that would set it apart. We were slightly disappointed that it took some time and effort to order a non-alcoholic Mojito. Nevertheless, the hospitality was warm and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, it was worth the splurge.
Great drink and pizza after a walk up from Elwood bathers. views and ambiance to be enjoyed. The whole building has history and well worh a visit.
We came to this restaurant with a big group and enjoyed dinner and drinks. The set pan-Asian menu was a good fit for us and we thought the food was tasty. The dumplings were very spicy but still delicious. The beer selection was nice and the service was decent. The prices were reasonable for the area. The atmosphere was lively, but it was a bit too noisy for our liking.
We had the seafood platter and it was awful. Poor quality seafood and the crab was just awful could not eat it. Think you need to stick to pub grub in this venue.
