The food at this restaurant is delicious and comes in generous portions. We ordered lamb and chicken souvlaki, which were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. Although the prices were a bit high, this is a great place for a special occasion and made for a wonderful night out.

We had made an early reservation and were the first group to arrive at the restaurant. We had high expectations based on some very positive reviews online and my personal love for Greek cuisine, especially taramasalata. However, from the moment we were seated, we were overwhelmed with praises about their food being the best in Melbourne and specifically their taramasalata being top-notch because it was not pink and used higher quality caviar. The owner or server, Victoria, was very talkative and shared many accolades and information, which became tiresome. Unfortunately, the taramasalata turned out to be bland and nothing else on the menu was particularly remarkable. The most peculiar part of our experience was that despite being the only two guests in the restaurant, our entrees were served with a significant time gap between them, as it seemed the kitchen had forgotten to prepare one of them. As a gesture of apology, my husband was offered a complimentary glass of wine. Overall, we felt there was too much self-congratulation and not enough attention to the customers. Later on, a Greek taxi driver informed us that there are many better Greek restaurants in Melbourne.

My group had lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. We were the only customers at first, but as we stayed into the early evening, the restaurant filled up quickly. We opted for the banquet option, which was a great choice. The food, starting with the dips and bread, was delicious. The calamari was tender, and the lamb was juicy and perfectly cooked. As solo diners, we received excellent service. Overall, it was a fabulous experience.
