Magic Wok - St Leonards

Just had a take-away from here and will definitely be coming back. The staff were really friendly both on the phone and when I picked the food up. Really fast service, our food was ready in 15 mins from me phoning up to order. As for the food, was superb. I had sweet'n'sour chicken balls and chicken chow mein, my wife had crispy chilli beef and mushroom chow mein and both were delicious.

Been coming to the magic wok for years, however not any more. The last few takeaways have been really disappointing compared to what they used to be pancake rolls containing barely anything other than bean sprouts, chicken chow mein with only a couple of pieces of chicken. Special fried rice used to have loads of chicken/prawns/pork in now you mainly get peas and egg with a few bits of meat in. The prices have gone up significantly with a decrease in quality.

The worst Chinese takeaway we’ve ever had. Watery and tasteless curry sauce. Nothing had any flavour what so ever. Horrible mushy texture to everything. Will not order again.
