The London Tea Room - St Louis

I found the food to be subpar and the service lacking. Their response to negative reviews also showed a lack of respect and rudeness, which mirrored my experience in person. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant.

The London Teespace exceeded my expectations. I had booked a Christmas afternoon tea with a non-veg friend and we were seated promptly at our reserved time. The decor and table setting were lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options available, which were a veganized version of the regular meal carefully curated for plant-based diners. Everything was delicious and I couldn't stop raving about it. The tea was also amazing. This will definitely become a new holiday tradition for me.

My mother and I went out for high tea and enjoyed every moment of it. She chose the Parisian breakfast tea, while I opted for lavender earl grey. We were served three types of sandwiches: cucumber with mint, salmon, and chicken salad on a croissant. Additionally, we were each given an orange cranberry scone with clotted cream and strawberry preserves. Despite being too full for dessert, we took home a selection of petit fours including a raspberry-topped brownie, lemon blueberry tart, and macaron. The service was excellent, and we had a pleasant conversation with our server's friend, Alora. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

My friends and I recently went to the Pride and Prejudice tea event and we were extremely impressed. The food and tea were superb. The atmosphere was fantastic, providing a complete experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, addressing a couple of issues that arose with our group before we even arrived for the tea (allergy and possible cancellation). It was a delightful afternoon and we will definitely be coming back!

I got married in 2013 and traveled from out of town to celebrate my bachelorette party with lunch at this restaurant. I absolutely adored this hidden gem and years later, I still find myself longing to return and possibly try their afternoon tea on a weekend. There is no other place in the area that truly captures the essence of afternoon tea as well as this place does. It's remarkable how even years later, people still talk and reminisce about their experience here. It's not often you come across a business that is so perfectly situated and consistently exceptional. I can't wait to return and order a little bit of everything!
