The Baked Bear - St Louis

This place is AMAZING! I really like that the cookies are fresh baked instead of some stale old store bought cookies. The icecream is also delicious and creamy. I like that it didn't taste like frozen ice. They also warm your sandwich/cookies.

Stopped by here on a trip to visit St Louis from out of town. Definitely recommend! Adults and kids both loved it, and the service from the friendly staff was second to none. That’s rare these days. Also got a generous serving of ice cream between my cookies on the sandwich I chose. Give it a try!

I walked by this place while checking out the Del Mar loop and knew I had to give it a shot. The concept seemed cool and I definitely have a sweet tooth. The Baked Bear has a ton of cookie and ice cream options, including vegan flavors. The cookies are soft baked and you also have the option of reheating them after your ice cream sandwich is assembled. I got the gooey butter cake and Cookie Monster cookies with salted caramel and s’mores ice creams. So good!

Completely ripped off! My family and I went in there today because my husband suggested us going. This was my second time at this establishment as I had not been in a couple of years. We had 4 items total. My son was asked what top and bottom he wanted then his whet ice cream he wanted the. She asked me the same question. A younger girl made ours. I had a cookie bottom and brownie top with salted caramel ice cream, my son had a chocolate chip cookie top and Cookie Monster bottom with dark chocolate ice cream. Another lady made my husband’s and he had gooey butter cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Both me and my son’s was so small the girl barely put ice cream in between where the other lady stuffed my husbands to the top. None of us were asked about toppings afterwards as that’s included and I didn’t pay any attention because again it’s been so long since I’ve been in here so I wouldn’t have known. I just realized when I looked at the website. I didn’t discover any of this until later on after they were closed because I didn’t watch them put them together. Of course my son wanted to eat his after dinner so I didn’t want to stop him. We also got some ice cream in a cup for our toddler. What a waste of money so furious in the inconsistency and then not providing what they were suppose to. I would’ve questioned it had I seen it before we left but I had my husband pay and I ran to the restroom and the items where bagged up because we got it to go. Spending over $40 for this!? BUYER BEWARE. A refund or replacement would be nice.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. It definitely lived up to the hype. The people who made the cookie sandwiches were really nice. We were able to pick two different types of cookies or the same type. Then we filled it with ice cream and decided if we wanted them warm or not. Then they put M&m around the cookie. It was great. Would definió tu go back. Just make sure you are hungry when you go since the portions are huge or you are sharing with someone. They are not super expensive which is nice as well.
