Cleaver Cocktail - St. Louis

Absolutely wonderful dining in an amazing setting. We sat on the patio which was looking over the small park. Sitting inside was out of the question with a patio like that, even though the inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and I would have enjoyed it in the colder weather.We had short ribs for an appetizer, and they were melting in my mouth and very well seasoned. After that, we opted out for vegetarian, lighter options, and we were not disappointed. Will be back 100%.Our waiter was the best ?Excellent service tonight.

We randomly stumbled upon this establishment for happy hour, and since it was early enough, we were the only 2 at the bar, along with another couple. We chose our seats and proceeded to order our drinks. Our bartender by the way was AMAZING! But, I guess the manager or bar manager had an issue with us being in the place, because he singled us out (when it was still empty remember) to scoot down due to having available seats?? (And before anyone sends a follow up comment, there was 1 empty seat at the end of the bar, so we clearly didn’t mess us any type of rotation). Then again after our bill was paid, we were singled out when he put the “reserved” sign down where we were sitting, but then proceeded to tell us there was no rush for us to leave, when there were 3 different couples who left the bar at the same time… why wasn’t the sign placed in one of those empty seats? The nice/nasty attitude, he should have left at home. Don’t blame things on the “rules of the establishment” for your own personal bias.To be honest, you could get better service anywhere else, and especially for those who aren’t the “right color”, choose wisely if you are looking for a nice, romantic spot to have a date night.

Really like the look and ambiance of Cleaver Cocktail! Cool bar, too. My rib-eye was done just right and the service was attentive and positive and knowledgeable of the restaurant's capabilities. The chef visited partway through the meal to check in, too. Will definitely return!

Love this place! Cozy and chill, great food and drinks. I recently had the Winter Breeze seasonal drink and it was delicious. I had thr burger with fries, and we got the sourdough as a special and OH MY was it delicious! Staff is very friendly. Excited to go back!

My experience was great. The staff are friendly and quick, and the food was incredible. I would rate higher than five stars if I could. Definitely will be back.
