The hostess was the only server and she was training that night and still managed to be upbeat, pleasant, efficient and kind as she presented our delicious food. How we wished we lived in St. Louis, instead of visiting, as this would be a favorite spot to dine!
This was my first time to this restaurant, I happened to be in St. Louis for business and had a desire to eat some Sushi. Upon arrival the restaurant was empty, I sat at the Sushi bar and ordered a Rainbow Roll and combination fried rice. The rice was decent but the Sushi left a lot to be desired! The amount of fish on the roll was very little and visible a small amount to the eye, the cost of the Rainbow Roll was approximately $14.00 which for a well made roll is not that expensive, but this roll, again, did not meet the standard. I won't be visiting this place again when I return to St. Louis and I definitely don't recommend it for anyone looking for a good Sushi restaurant in the the area of downtown.
Everything was very good. The sushi was fantastic and would definitely recommend the philly steak roll. Will be returning soon im sure.
Overall, this was an average or a bit above average experience. What was disappointing was the product we ordered: 6 course Valentine’s Day meal. This wasn’t the greatest not because of the food quality, but because our waitress forgot about course number 1 and then lied trying to make my wife and I buy the idea that the package was a 5 instead of 6 course meal. Thankfully, the manager understood and didn’t allow us to pay full price.
The restaurant took our reservation through OpenTable; however, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. I am not sure whose fault it is restaurant's or OpenTable, but this was a very disappointing experience.
