The Kitchen Buffet - St. Louis

I think what makes this place good are people. The food is an average buffet, but the servers and hosts really make an effort to smile and tell you about their lives and interact if you want. I need to know a few and they're hard working great people.

Food was a great choice. It was beautiful u have different stations for food, so there are not long lines. Salads, meat, vegetables. Our waiter also asked a great job if we needed something and brought me steak knives and A1 sauce and made sure our drinks were filled. Very nice person and definitely a supervisor. Had a great time at the casino.

My friend and I really enjoyed the food. We were on vacation. It was delicious. The waitress was nice and we didn't have to wait long to take a seat or get our drinks. A huge selection of dishes and so many desserts.

This is THE WORST Casino buffet in town!!!! If you are eating at this buffet due to points accumulated, then definitely go for it!! Such is the ONLY good reason to eat here. But, DO NOT PAY TO EAT HERE!!!!!! For the price, you are better off going to the Golden Corral, Hokkaido, Hibachi Grill, another Casino buffet (if you want Casino and even go ahead and play at another Casino if food/Casino is all you want) or frankly go anywhere else!! This buffet for its price lacks variety; their food is not great; I get the feeling that the cooks are underpaid, overworked and it all shows up in the food and their food can be downright disgusting depending on what day you go; given that the food on the buffet changes often. Plus again for its high price, the Lumiere could also be noisy, ghetto, overcrowded, uncomfortable and just a ridulous place for what you'd be paying. In the past, Lumiere used to be a 5 star buffet with high quality food and it USED to literally be the BEST place to eat in town (back when Pinnacle was the owner). However, times have changed after the Lumiere became ran by a new owner. Thus, it has gone from FIRST to WORST!! The unique desserts is the ONLY thing that kept the Lumiere buffet FROM getting just ONE star!! Even MCDONALD'S is MUCH better than this place!!
