Grand Suvretta House - St. Moritz

One of the best hotels not cheap at all, but amazing

They expect to experience that they are looking for is the slogan for every lhw hotel. at least our experience with the Sulvretta house in st. moritz in 2022 was another. we had booked 3 rooms with half board. 6 adult and 1 half age 5 months. the problem: the ps there is only with suit and tie and only for men from 5 years in the big restaurant. without exception. can this problem be solved easily in this hotel? have not got this direction! what was offered to us as a solution? the small family can go back. let them be monitored by a baby monitor or go fee from a baby girl or take the dinner in the room exceptional. other alternatives for the booked hp does not offer the hotel. against a credit which corresponds to about 1/3 of the value of the ps, the dinner can also be ordered in the stube à la carte. from a hotel that counts among the best 100 in Switzerland, I expect more. on other small things like a sometimes somewhat overwhelmed service in the holy large restaurant, partly non-German service staff etc. I don't want to go any further. only so much: that you have to put yourself in a restaurant with 16 gault millau points and the wein sometimes also have to limit, is more than just unacceptable and much inappropriate than one of the non-due outfits of the direction. our conclusion: the hotel can stay with its masters, we will look for more suitable alternatives that will also stay on the lhw solgan!

A beautiful hotel, great rooms with superb view, very attentive staff, great wellness area, an enormous breakfast buffet that leaves no wish open. the evenings in the hall with music accompaniment, simply wonderful! an unforgettable weekend!

Very impressive hotel with views of the mountains. great afternoon tea, which we were allowed to enjoy as external guests on the midday. the desserts were a dream. friendly service, but unfortunately no German Swiss speaking. to some quiet atmosphere, almost like in an oldsheim. some music in the lobby would be nice.
