Le Shack - St. Philip

For a change from many nights of great seafood, had the burger. I was also great!

This was our first meal in Barbados, and it was spectacular. The service was amazing, the setting was beautiful and casual. We had a salmon tartare that was wonderful. Also, some of the best snails and mushrooms I’ve ever had. The sauce was amazing. I had the barracuda, and my husband had this year at all he tuna. For dessert we had a white chocolate lemon tart that was to die for. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was always checking on you making sure everything was wonderful.

An absolutely amazing dining experience with our favorite chef Jean-Jacques Carquillat. I could make this review very long, but there is no need to. Just go, take a taxi if you need to, but go. It’s well worth it!

We love Le Shack and visited many times during our 3 week vacation in Barbados. The hosts Jean Jacques and AnnaLise are wonderful, the atmosphere in the restaurant very positive, the food exceptional all in all magical evenings out. Oh, and the takeaway pizzas are excellent. We can’t wait to return.
