It was also a little too spicy despite ordering with no spice. Otherwise their drinks are amazing, highly recommend the mango juice!
I unfortunately had a horrible experience tonight at the St. Thomas Osmow?s location. I walked in at 8:45 pm which I know is quite late however they do close at 9pm. As soon as I walked in the young man working groaned very loudly to (I?m assuming) make me aware that my presence was an inconvenience.. I looked at him because I was startled and he groaned and mumbled loudly again. I wish I had walked out at this point however the young girl at the cash register was at least nice. I didn?t end up ordering what I wanted because the young man was glaring at me the entire time I was ordering, and I was worried that I would be even more of an inconvenience. To top it off the employee walked over in front of me and turned off the open sign at 8:50pm.. I don?t usually leave reviews however I don?t think I?ve ever had a restaurant employee make me feel so terrible. I know it can be annoying having customers come in late but I don?t think anybody deserves to feel like an inconvenience or a terrible person for ordering food at an open restaurant.
I went to this place 15 mins before closing but they were really nice to me and they made really delicious falafel wrap. The french fries were a lil burnt though. The service was great and the place was clean.
Let me start by saying that before I stepped foot in this establishment I used to think I was good with heat. When they asked what level of hot sauce I chose the one in the middle. It was so hot it ruined my meal, which sucked because it was $52 for the two of us. I 'm actually terrified at the thought of what the hottest sauce was like. I honestly couldn 't tell you if the flavor was good because my mouth was completely on fire and that 's all I tasted was hot sauce. Both ordered identical wraps with identical toppings, they came out looking completely different, one full of toppings, the standard amount you 'd see anywhere else, and one with basically none. I 'd hoped they would be a bit more consistent. I was the one who ended up with basically no toppings simply lamb and a tremendous amount of hot sauce. Neither of ours even had any pickles or turnip which was asked for, and definitely didn 't taste any hummus. My fattouche salad, at first I thought was just simply underdressed until I got to the bottom and realized that it was all there, not tossed with the lettuce at all. Also, what shawarma place charges for hummus on a wrap? This one, that 's where, 25¢ each. Literally every single place I 've been it 's a standard free topping. The poutine was just ok and the pop was cold. A random charge for $5.98 on the bill called Barbican . Still completely unsure what that is as I don 't think we ordered that. Will I go back? Not likely.
I have been coming here for awhile now and would always get the lamb shawarma platter and i would love it everytime but now they have decided they need to be cheaper on the food and split the lamb shawarma platter in half with this new Oz Box. I will not be ordering here again until this is changed or something is done the price is almost the same and you get way less food it was already pretty expensive as it is now its just not worth it i don?t know who?s idea it was for the oz box but it needs to be changed
