The hot and fresh fries at this restaurant are excellent. The cheeseburger was just okay, not homemade and made with processed cheese. It would be better if the cheese was not processed, but overall, it wasn't bad. I really like that they serve Shaw's ice cream. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Here at the advice of one of the locals. This place is only open to fall spring and the locomotives are waiting to open. I had the hot Hamburger poutine for the first time and the hot dog special for the second time. Very good... and I'll be back to try more about the menu.
This restaurant serves excellent burgers and fries! I especially love their poutine and they also offer Shaw's ice cream and shakes. There are plenty of vegetarian options available as well.
After hearing about this place on Facebook my husband, daughter and I decided to stop by on our way home from Port Stanley. Are we ever glad we did. First I have to say the owner is an extremely nice guy. We chatted with him...while he took and made our order. So excellent customer service there. My husband ordered a burger, I ordered a hot dog and my daughter ordered chicken fingers. We all ordered poutine. My husband says the burger was amazing one of the best he has ever had and trust me he eats a lot of burgers. My hot dog was very good. You put your own toppings on which is great as long as the people that used them before you are respectful. I mean who doesn’t hate it when tomatoes are in the onions etc? My daughter said he chicken fingers were excellent and like my husband she eats a lot of them. As I said above we all ordered poutine. The fries are just perfect. This man knows how to cook fries. If you love your fries then this is the place for you. So good. The gravy he uses for the poutine is also very good. Very tasty. None of use like the type of cheese that he used. It just wasn’t to our taste. Other reviews I have read said they love it so, in this case, I think it is just a matter of taste. Next time though I would just order fries on their own or with the yummy gravy. This is just a food truck, but he has a few picnic tables you could eat at. We are in our car as the time of year we went, bees and wasps were everywhere. No way to control that. If you get the chance to stop by I suggest you do. The prices, service and food are excellent. A nice treat.
