I have visited Tesco cafe multiple times and have generally found the food to be quite good! I particularly love their breakfast options. However, the main problem is that they are consistently understaffed. It is not uncommon to see one employee taking orders at the counter, preparing hot drinks, and delivering food to tables all by themselves. This often results in long wait times to place an order, as well as a 45-minute wait for food during peak hours. The overall experience would greatly improve with more staff on hand.
The restaurant is consistently short-staffed, resulting in long wait times to place an order. The staff member at the register also has to make coffee, causing further delays before the kitchen receives the order.
Slow to take orders. Mid day Friday and long wait on fish as they were waiting for it to thaw, on a Friday! Total staff indifference.
Tasty breakfast and reasonably priced. Customer Service was great. The trays could have been slightly cleaner. Would recommend.
