The Island Desserts - Stafford

Booked for a family Birthday of 13 booked 3 weeks ago. Took 30 minutes to seat us, then another 20 minutes to get popadoms cold with no plates. Waited another 1:30 with no food , just eat come and go but still no food on our table. Waited for 2 1/2 hours with nothing to eat. Left with no food and very hungry.

I thought this was an average place the food was nice, prices were reasonable, plenty of parking out the front decor was nice, the girls serving were friendly and efficient. I had a mock-tail which was nice. They don’t sell alcohol here, but I believe you can bring your own. the only things I would say which were negative were that 1. It was absolute freezing in there 2. They constantly have ‘just eat’ drivers coming in threw the front door which a. Let the cold air in continuously and b. Was annoying because they then pack the orders into the delivery bags on the bar, it’s distracting and they should do this in the back and drivers use a back door. 3. Every time a driver comes they press a door bell which is really loud and annoying and distributive to your table conversation. It’s not good etiquette. If not for these 3 things I would have rated higher.

Horrible horrible service!!!! Delivery took 2,5 hours!!! Ridiculous!!!! When we called to cancel we’ve been told delivery will be with us in next 10 mins!!! Very poor customer service!! If I could review on negative it would be -10!!!!!

Very welcome on arrival by Katie nice friendly lady went the extra mile for you her customer service excellent love the food too highly recommend desert menu to dye for lots off good choices
