This restaurant serves the best and most delicious steak with a perfectly cooked peppercorn sauce. It offers great value for money and has a very friendly and polite staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Phil and Lisa.
I recently visited The Butchers Arms after being away from Bramshall for 70 years. The village pub has been beautifully modernized and clean. I was mostly impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, especially the barmaid who chatted with me about old times. The waitress was also very friendly and the service was prompt. The pub food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping by to support them if you're in the area. I hope to return much sooner than another 70 years. If more pubs were as friendly and reasonably priced as The Butchers Arms, they could give it a run for its money.
Stopped off here after a day out in Alton Towers, with hopes of getting a good dinner to see us on outlet travels, however the menu was more Snacks than meals, so we ended up getting a shared platter of wedges, chicken gougons, garlic mushrooms, nachos, onion rings and garlic bread. The food itself was ok, not too much choice for vegetarians from what I could see. But would have been better if they had more meal based foods rather than snacks, only the specials seem to be more substantial, but you are limited on choice by what day you are there. To drink I had the Joules stone ale, it had notes of elderflower throughout which I must admit I did enjoy. The bar is also dog friendly, but that seems to be the case with most places in England.
Beautiful quaint pub and restaurant in the village of Forsbrook, lovely authentic feel. Welcomed by staff immediately on arrival and offered a table. Handed the menus to us and took our drinks order, we had plenty of time to review the menu which had some lovely offerings. Chose 3 starters from the 3 for £12 range and were more than satisfied with the offerings. Main meals could not be faulted and was very nice. So many options we will definitely return. Staff were very friendly and pleasant and food delivery was spot on.
