We were seated in our own room which was lovely but it meant that the service tended to be a bit slower as if we had been forgotten. They were using the corner of our room to store extra chairs which is just a minor gripe but it did make it feel a little downgraded. A pleasant enough experience had it not been for the price for which I expected better. Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view
My husband and Irecently had the pleasure of staying one night at Great Fosters hotel. Nestled near the heart of Windsor, this historical gem of a hotel left an indelible mark on us with its impeccable service and charming ambiance. From the moment we stepped through the small “door-in-a-door” we were immediately captivated by the enchanting and historical interior that exuded classical English charm. It was clear that great effort was taken to restore/preserve its history yet it still achieved the expectations for modern comforts. We were quite hungry the day we arrived and requested tea and we were escorted to a charming and secluded tearoom to our delight. The tea service was excellent and was a wonderful start to our stay. Afterwards, we took a stroll in the gorgeous gardens of the hotel and then retired to our room to rest before dinner. Our room was a blend of traditional and contemporary décor with a mix of antique furniture and modern amenities that provided us with a comfortable and relaxing space. It also had a scenic view of the amazing garden and grounds, which we truly enjoyed. To top off our stay, we ate at The Tudor Pass that is located in the hotel, which was absolutely outstanding. Great Fosters was truly a tranquil retreat where we were able to unwind and appreciate the beauty of an English estate and we wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend Great Fosters for anyone seeking an unforgettable, beautiful and historical hotel with excellent service and amenities. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Starting with the very warm helpful front staff. Specially Kazi helped us throughout from the beginning to end . Helped my handicapped mother to get inside the Hotel, to find the ladies also get in the car at the end . Bless him. Excellent garden views. Other staffs were all very pleasant too. We used to live on this road and stayed at the hotel for a week for the Hampton Court Flower Show and to visit old haunts and friends before. This time was for the afternoon tea . It was little slow service but enjoyed. Service: 4 Location: 5
Visited Great Fosters for an afternoon tea. Welcomed at the door and shown to the very homely afternoon room. We were shown to the last table available, which denotes its popularity. Made our choice of hot drink and then delighted in a glass of champagne as our beautifully arrayed tea tower was put before us. Sandwiches, scones, patisseries all perfect. The icing on the cake was a gentle stroll around the amazing gardens. Knott gardens, Saxon moats, sunken tea Garden, rustic arched wooden Bridge over reflective water. You need to see it in person to appreciate what dedication and love has been spent on this place. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly
