Beldotti Bakeries - Stamford

I had a rude experience with an employee when I was in on wednesday morning, and it?s not the first time. I?m disappointed with this, and will not be back. To add to it, the person that responded to my Facebook message defended the rude behavior. Brushingoff a customer is not the way to get through a busy holiday season or any other time. I?ve worked in retail before, and wouldnever treat a customer like this. Let alone, chatting with a coworker while there?s 5 other customers standing in line waiting.

I wish I knew about this bakery three weeks ago. I had ordered a cake a few weeks earlier from another well known bakery in Stamford, won?t name names, but it was so dry and crumbly. I decided to give beldotti?s a chance, I ordered a cannoli cake, andwow. IT WAS SO GOOD. so fresh, and tasteful. My niece who isn?t big on cakes, ate it, the kids didn?t just eat the frosting off,everyone ate their entire slice because it was so good. Not only do I commend them on an amazing cake, but their customerservice is top notch. From when I ordered over the phone, to the in-store service, so attentive, store was clean, you can smellthe fresh baked goods. A hidden gem that I?ll definitely be returning to.

Real helpful and patient staff! I asked for a scone, she had it bagged rung up. Then I saw the apple fritters! She said, no problem and cheerfully switched it out. I also needed an expense receipt printed, which is an extra step on their system.Happily done. GREAT extraordinary service. Plus the Italian cookies and apple fritter were quite yummy!

Breads I have tried are excellent, and the bagels most days are brought in from Brooklyn and are superb, but some days they are more ordinary. The desserts I have tried are mostly good, although some were stale and had an off taste. These they exchangedfor me. Convenient location on Newfield Avenue, and if you need fuel there are two stations out front with the lowest prices inthe area.
