We were accommodated by being seated at a table that was in the way of the food runners and waiters. We weren't served water for half an hour before being forgotten about for another 25 minutes. If it wasn't for the pregame at home we would have left. The food was okay. A medium steak served raw was better after I heated it up at home, but the mashed potatoes were lovely. The crab cake and burrata appetizers were delicious; probably the best parts of the night! We even got a show in the form of the chef screaming like CT's version of Gordon Ramsay!! Sadly without the fame to back it up, it just sounded like the kitchen from hell instead of hells kitchen. All in all, this place is usually a go to for a fancier meal; but maybe not on special occasions like this where they are bound to be packed.
My wife and I went here for our Valentine’s dinner. Overall, we had nice night as we did enjoy each others company and that’s what matters above all. That we enjoyed each other. BUT we feel that it was understaffed, valentines menu was too big (too many options, therefore kitchen staff overwhelmed), and over booked. We heard the kitchen staff yelling at the top of their lungs more than one occasion. A little unprofessional to say the least. Our steaks came out cold and we asked for bread 4 times until it finally arrived. Like I said, in the end, we made the best of it. Perhaps valentines is not the best time to come to Blackstones as we have dined here in the past and it has been wonderful.
First time visiting restaurant 2/14/2023. The place was packed the Chef begin to scream and yell and embarrass the wait staff waitresses walking with food had no idea of the table it went to, and my food came thrown on plate no presentation like it was thrown on the plate.
Valentines experience was a horrible waste of money. Cold food and the waiters had no idea what they were doing
The food was good, but the service was not good at all. The poor service ruined the whole experience. The wrong food order was put in, which resulted in a whole long discussion with the kitchen manager before it was made right. Our drinks that were ordered as soon as we sat down came mid-way through the entree. Our water glasses never got refilled. …and the list goes on-and-on…. We brought all of this, and more to the attention of our waiter when we were finally able to track him down, and he blamed it on the management having them short handed. We decided to cut the meal short and leave early.
