John The Baker Of Long Ridge Rd

We took our hockey team, made up of kids aged 12 and under, out for a family-style Italian dinner. It was an excellent choice for feeding 12 kids and 4 coaches a hearty meal. The meatballs were absolutely fantastic!

We ordered takeout from this restaurant, but they sent the wrong items and were very rude and unhelpful over the phone. The gluten-free crust was terrible—just like a dry, floury cracker. The regular crust lacked any texture or chewiness. We will definitely not be ordering from here again.

I really love John the Baker, but I just had a clam pizza delivered that was a huge disappointment. Not only was it half an hour late, but I ended up having to throw it out. The slices were soaked in oil and completely inedible. I'm so disappointed, especially since this is usually my go-to place in the neighborhood.

Chicken Parmigiano was good, very tasty as well as the house salad. Wine was marginal but had low expectations. I came in between lunch and dinner and the restaurant was very slow. One would have expected outstanding service given the lack of anyoneelse in the restaurant. However it was the exact opposite. The sever waiting left before I was served and never returned and noone else checked on me. After I leisurely finished without anyone checking on the quality of my meal or did I want more water orwine I waited more than 20 minutes to get my bill.

My wife and we?re in there for the first time and it was such an enjoyable experience! Great food, wonderful staff and very comfortable! We?ve decided this is where we?ll come to from now on when we want dinner at a restaurant!
