We had been missing the Creamery in Woodstock downtown but found it again just outside of town on Rte 4. We had an amazing breakfast our first day and came back again for lunch the second day. The restaurant is clean, staff is super helpful and the food is wonderful.
This place should be closed up. My family stopped in after somebody recommended it to us. What a mistake that was,we got there around 12PM and not a soul was in the place, we asked the very rude host/waitress if they would serve eggs, pancakes, and some sort of breakfast food for us and my 5 year old twins. Much to my dismay I was rudely shut down by this pea brain of a host, I then asked if she would serve hard boiled eggs for my son and the response from this Inconsiderate moron was we only serve them with our salads so we can’t serve them alone. Can you believe this, not one person was in the place and they wouldn’t make concessions for a child !!!!! We promptly walked out !!! Besides the place looked dirty and should be Condemned, when starving and looking for something to eat, your better off starving than eating here, look elsewhere and be happy !!!
I have been going for 30 years and it was very good, but now it has moved and is difficult to get to, and way outside of Woodstock. But the worse thing is after being in their new location for 6 months they still do not have an oven, so no more wonderful pies and now its a small sandwich shop that is quite ordinary and still accepts only cash (tax evasion They never took credit cards in all their years. I won't be going back as I can make a better sandwich at home.
Excellent Pumpkin Ice Cream!!Beautiful setting to enjoy a yummy treat ?
