Tigín Irish Pub - Stamford

The food was delicious, but the service was a bit strange. We ordered the fish and chips, and it was perfect—flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside. However, the waiter seemed a bit off; he forgot our order and came back to check on it twice after we had already placed it. He also brought us the bill and took away my glass of sparkling water, along with the half-full bottle, without letting me finish. That was one of the oddest experiences I've had at a restaurant in a while. I guess he was just new.

Tigin is a wonderful and reliable spot. The interior is spacious, featuring at least two bars and various seating options, including cozy tables by a fireplace, perfect for both groups and couples. The staff is very friendly. While outdoor service can be a bit slow, my only complaint is the high seating (even though I'm tall). The beer selection is excellent, and the menu offers some tasty pub fare; the burgers are quite good, though the overall options are somewhat limited. It's an ideal place for drinks before or after dinner.

The food was outstanding, and the staff was extremely friendly. Everything was perfect, even though they were incredibly busy. I can't wait to return!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. While service outside can be a bit slow at times, and I personally don’t care for the high seating (as I’m quite tall), the atmosphere is still enjoyable. The beer selection is fantastic, and the pub fare is decent; the burgers are particularly tasty, although the overall menu could use more variety. It’s a fantastic place to start or end your evening out.
