Zaza Italian Gastro - Stamford

Owner was incredibly rude. I have beaten my two-year-old son on the floor and sneaked him. also took away his high chair before we finished our meal. eating was not good enough to check to come back anyway. would never recommend to anyone based on our treatment.

I brought my team from six to zaza for our annual holiday dinner and gift exchange. the personal in zaza was very courteous and friendly. some of us came to the venue early and planned to sit on the bar for a cocktail until our table was finished, but the staff had us sit early on our table. the restaurant even collected our 36 gift bags and kept them in the back until we were ready to exchange. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Eating was fantastic. it is a lively atmosphere in the front and was a bit loud. the room is not quite romantic, but still pleasant. but we will never come back, as the owner was rude, was difficult if we were asked at the beginning of the evening whether we could have separate controls for eating and alcohol, and refused to serve the wait staff another round drinks at the end of the evening, but then we said we could move into the bar for another drink. it had nothing to do with changing the table. there were several tabs that were not occupied. while we had our drink at the bar, he screamed at his staff in the dining room. it is too bad that he has eaten such good and ruined a pleasant evening.

Whole restaurant is good: eating is tasty and nicely proportional, but appetizers are quite small for the money. server were polite and friendly, but it took a while until they take our order after our arrival. manager is not welcome.

Solid Italian food in Stamford. Good service and atmosphere.
