We love coming here for lunch! The service is outstanding, and the food is delicious and served hot. The quality is fantastic as well. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

This is a lovely country pub with charming décor, a cozy bar, and a large outdoor seating area. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone nearby. Claire was fantastic—she’s bubbly, friendly, and full of personality. They paid great attention to our dietary needs, making us feel safe and confident that our meals would be well prepared. As for the food, it was simply phenomenal—one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! This place is a true gem in Stamford.

On a busy Sunday afternoon, we visited a lively pub with a diverse and affordable menu, and we were greeted with a warm welcome upon our arrival. We ordered a medium plate of the Sunday roast dinner, which included roast chicken, roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, a bowl of mixed vegetables, and gravy. The generous portion was well-cooked and reasonably priced. The pub is quite popular, with a charming landlady. However, I noticed that most patrons weren't wearing masks and there was little ventilation, which was a bit unsettling after experiencing a rough few weeks with COVID. I found myself wanting to head for the door.

Good old fashion pub, great pint and great selection of real ales. perfect place to hide when the woman buys. I had no food, but it smelled and looked fantastic. 9/10

What an excellent bar. Staff excellent too. Well worth a visit, especially to break up a London journey. The place looks worthy of a might out too, plenty of other bars.
