Wayside Family - Stanfield

Wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I think I'll choose somewhere else

Prices have gone outrageous and I drive further to get fresh food. French fries are always cold and old. Sad it used to be a place to take the family. Cheaper to ho eat a steak. $18 for a chicken pita fries and side salad. I work in the same industry and prices are so much higher. I can get a large catfish plate at Stanfield wayside with fries and side salad for under$12.

Food was great though the slaw wasn't the greatest.

Came in on 12-16-23, Food was alright, my issue was Brittany. Not only was her attitude just awful, i could hear her talking awfully about me and my family to her coworker, body shaming me on what I was wearing in front of my kids(low cut crop top and high rise leggings) I didn’t know if I was wearing something she didn’t like, we’d be put to the bottom of the post. She took 1 1/2 hours to bring out a 20 piece nugget and a cheese burger. I asked for the manager but she said she was the manager which i doubt, but no other adult was there at the time. This was an awful experience for all of my family, and I will never come back again.

I used to work at this restaurant as a dishwasher, grill cook, and sandwich maker, and if you want an inside look at the place well the food is kept pretty well and everything is set up in an organized mess the floors are always slippery I have seen multiple people fall while working in my opinion without the right shoes it could be unsafe for a certain few. I really enjoyed working here and enjoying working with the people here most of them are really great and wonderful people. Some people are very rude from what I hear, it is toxic between some employees and the owner doesn’t seem to know what to do about it besides yell but the job always gets done in the end. Everyday I would come in there would no matter what be something for somebody to yell about overall it is a pretty ok restaurant if your looking to sit down and eat at with your family but if who plan on working there I suggest you look for something else first.
