Kod Barba Luke - Stari Grad

There were just two restaurants in Stari Grad shown on the app, one of them was not open and the other one does not serve vegan food any longer (Bistro Kod Damira). So we decided to stroll around and found Restaurant “Kod Barba Luke” which is a normal croatian restaurant serving fish and meat but after talking with them they made us the perfect vegan dinner. We had so many plates arugula salad with olives and a homemade bread, grilled vegetables, spinach with potatoes and a mediterranean risotto with vegetables and a tomato sauce. It was so delicious we will definitely come back again. It was the perfect food and evening overlooking the harbor. Thx

I ordered pasta with grilled vegetables. It was okay, pretty tasty, but the part was extremely small, but very expensive. I paid 110 kuna for a small starter part and left hungry. In the other restaurants a part of pasta with vegetables is about 60-70 kuna and larger part.

There were only a few vegan options on the menu (the vegetarian risotto was the only main course, and we also had potatoes, bread and vegetables as sides), but it was very delicious and extremely filled! Updated by previous review on 2021-07-27

We had the seafood carpaccio (sea bass, shrimp, octopus, anchovies) and black ravioli (stuffed with fish) with squid and tomatoes. The seafood was fresh. Sea bass was delicious. Olive oil on the fish was amazing. Nice bread to clean the plate. Loved the tomato based broth with the pasta. My only nitpick is that the skin on the ravioli was too thick.
