I recommend sitting at the sushi bar, as the chefs prepare your food more quickly, allowing you to enjoy your meal even more. Just a heads up, though: they don’t serve sashimi.
I would have given this restaurant a 5-star rating if the rice had been better. The fish was fantastic—so tender it melted in my mouth—but the rice was truly disappointing. It tasted old and had a dry, plastic-like texture. On a positive note, our server was very friendly and charming.
This restaurant truly deserves a five-star rating. It feels like a genuine Japanese sushi bar right here in the States. The chefs are not only skilled but also strike a great balance between speed and beautiful presentation. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite; the flavors and textures are exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the space itself is much cleaner and better designed compared to other sushi spots in the city. If you're deciding on a sushi place in Tahoe, this one should be your top choice!
Used to LOVE this place, but not anymore. Two roller shells ordered via Door Dash. I couldn't leave my hotel, so that was my only option. Open it to both burned rollers. I was so disappointed and angry that I spent so much on disappointing me. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star because the shells were good.
Sat at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend ALL YOU CAN EAT(Lunch or Dinner) option. Christian was our Sushi Chef. ? Great food and service. I highly recommend allowing the Chef to be creative with your rolls. A side of devils spit was ?. Caution: I enjoy spicy rolls Place was clean and busy when we arrived. Be patient with staff (they are hiring) and might not sit you right away. It's definitely worth the wait. Enjoy!
