Great food, a little over priced but if you're looking for a different experience when it comes to dining or different type of cuisine check madang out. The owners were also really friendly and made sure we understood the menu.
I would love to keep this place a secret but the food was so good that I had to post a review. Perfect for foodies or someone with exotic taste. Ambience is good, service is excellent and the food is probably the best I've ever had. We ordered the the beef, pork bbq and the black goat soup. Dinner for 4 ran about $100 and was worth it. Don't let the location fool you and don't be a Manhattan snob. This is a Staten Island gem.
We arrived right when they opened and was not aware that the Korean BBQ side does not open until 5pm but they allowed my group of girl friends and I to sit on the side of the BBQ and get BBQ anyways. The entire staff was very kind and respectful. They have great customer service. I 100% recommend this place if you love Korean food.
Not the best, can't compared to Korean town, but the food is decent, service are great, wish they improve on there starter dishes, pretty much all vegetable, need some fish. There spicy beef tofu is good, bibimbap with beef, the fried chicken, pan fried squid are all good, the BBQ is also pretty good.
Super surprised about this korean restaurant on the island. Came here for dinner and was pleasantly greeted. The place wasn 't that crowded around 6pm and then started packing up later on the evening and it was only a Wednesday night! We had the complimentary dishes as all korean restaurants give, wish there was more of a variety and had more interesting textures most were just the regular kimchi or fish cakes. The tables are a bit too small for that many 'plates ' on the table. They don 't do BBQ on weekdays, but they cook it in their own kitchen to bring out. I loved the kalbi and the samgyupsal def excellent quality meat. The casserole with kimchi and dumpling was a bit normal nothing too special about that, and it was pretty annoying that they had the big portable burner that they took out to put on the table. I was disappointed about the kimchi pancake it was way too oily for my taste and seemed like it was fried. Not much kimchi taste, just a lot of oil. All in all, the meats were def the stars of the meal.
