Love love love this place. Best Sandwiches hands down. The mother and son are amazingly kind and conversive. The dad/husband is not someone I would want to speak to again. Pretty nasty attitude but the food never a complaint

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is excellent, prepared fresh right in front of you. They also serve water infused with real fruit, which is fantastic. You definitely have to give it a try—100% recommend!

I visited to buy some sweet bread, and everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious.

Great little bakery right on post. I only had a breakfast sandwich and coffee but wish i had more. I’ve heard many people talk about this spanish/mexican bakery had to try it. Glad i did

Since moving to Staten Island, I've been missing soft, savory fresh Mexican bread to no avail. Cross the bridge each time to Brooklyn was getting expensive. I drove past Veronicas and the simple authentic Mexican designed mural outside caught my eye. It's no secret most business will have all these colorful murals to show the Mexican culture but the simple mural Veronicas has is more or less what a typical business in Mexico will look like. I'm so glad I got a spot in front and went in. It's super tight and not as big as most bakeries in Brooklyn. But don't let that stop you- please support this business because it was hard enough finding a good bakery amongst the many nearby that actually carries good quality. The few pieces they have are clearly made with quality and love. Each bite takes me back to when I was younger and would visit my cousins and was sent to get bread for the evening snack. This place is as authentic as it gets and the sweet ppl running it are sooo hospitable. Each piece of bread was like 1.25 or 1.50 or 2 and change. Depending on the bread. I bought a couple of them and shared it with my mom and sister and they also agreed- this place is our new bakery. Across the street is a store jammed packed with Mexican goodies/ tortillas/ candy etc. Next day bread still soft and delicious ! Thank you
