Bj Hibachi Buffet - Statesville

The best catfish I have ever eaten. Tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. Good fresh peel and eat shrimp. Scrumptious frog legs- huge and meaty. Staff was efficient and very friendly. Excellent food fresh and plenty available. At the time we were there (early) only about 8 people were eating but fresh food kept coming out of the kitchen. You might have to wait but fresh food will soon be on the bar. A lot better than stocking the bar and letting it get old and stale. They rotated the buffet so you always had fresh food but on some items you might need to wait a few minutes. But in the 30 minutes we were there I think all the cooked items were replaced with fresh from the kitchen items. That way I ate only fresh from the kitchen items even though there were just a few people there. The food rotation was excellent and efficient. 5 stars well deserved.

Went in around 8 at night. Food was fresh. I have read reviews from others. They talking about the food being old and the fact that there is a school aged kid working there. Well the food is good. And yes there is a kid working there. She set us at our table. Got our drinks. Very nice. I have no problem with it the way i see it she could be like most kids. Rude. Don't help out. And stuck on a phone or game. But no she is being productive with her life. I say good job young ladie keep it up. For the ones that don't approve of a kid working there go somewhere else. Other wise look forward to having good service and good food.

Excellent food, great service! And less costly than expected! Definitely recommend this place as a dinner out for the family or as a date night, etc. Took my daughter and grandson out for dinner. This was his first time here and he can't wait to return! Gave it his highest recommendation! Daughter goes often... She knew he would enjoy the food! I've been a few times as well. Great buffet choices and for those who don't know, they have a nice grill in the back of the restaurant where you pick your choice of meat or fish and veggies and they cook it while you watch. Wonderful atmosphere, too! Very pleasant, friendly staff!

Don't trust people talking about things on the reviews. They are not true. I personally have had a great experience. If you do not know if you want to eat here. Go look at the food. You are allowed to. But if you sit down and order a drink and get a plate of food YOU MUST PAY!!! No exceptions. The food is great here and always fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming and the people who work there respect you. Once again don't listen to lies. Come in and see for yourself. It's a great place!!!

This is an all you can eat Chinese restaurant though they do have a hibachi grill if you're wanting something cooked. I've never tried any of their food cooked by the hibachi grill area though. The buffet itself is usually good, though we've had a few instances where if the food was dried out. The wait staff is always friendly to my family and our drinks usually don't run low. Definitely a place to stop by if you're really hungry.
