Contribuisci feedbackThe best fried fish I've ever had! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, without being greasy at all—simply DELICIOUS! I've tried both perch and flounder, but I prefer the perch because you get a larger portion. Everything I've tried on the menu has been enjoyable. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend stopping by if you haven't been yet—you won't regret it!
Wow! I popped in for lunch after visiting a client, and I'm so glad I did. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I ordered the famous bologna sandwich with lettuce, mayo, and tomato, and I also had the strawberry pound cake for dessert. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a classic '50s diner. To top it off, some local radio personalities even stopped by my table to say hello. You just can't replicate the unique vibe of this place at chain restaurants.
This restaurant was fantastic! My friend and I dropped in while we were waiting for our distillery tour in Statesville, and we discovered some delicious comfort food along with a friendly atmosphere. The fried fish here is among the best I’ve ever tasted!
Pleasant staff, attentive service, food came out quickly and exactly as requested. Tomato was fresh, hashbrowns and egg were done right. This is an older, traditional diner with booths and tables as well as counter/bar stool seating. They use glass plates, metal forks, and have good, thick napkins.
This place has great lunch. The staff are also very friendly, definitely would come here again. Last time I went I got the Club Sandwich and it was great.
